How you holding up, movement family? We are needing each other now more than ever.

As a response to the trying pandemic season in spring 2020, we convened a weekly virtual Irresistible Care Circle: a life-giving, interactive gathering place for connection and care.

Over 1,200 of you — organizers, facilitators, parents, artists, teachers, therapists, and hearts dedicated to personal & collective liberation — joined us in this series. We shared rest, honesty, and ritual. Our themes include self-regulation practices, grief and honoring our pain, song, and more.

Watch the videos & sing along

Most of our Care Circle sessions were not recorded to protect the privacy of the social justice leaders finding refuge with us, but the two exceptions were our amazing singalong nights.

Thrive Choir gave us a night of “Singing for Joy” on April 30. Artists Cherie Badawi, Kaitlin June, Austin Willacy, & Kyle Lemle shared some original music and taught songs we could sing along with and bring to our groups.

Lu Aya of the Peace Poets, Niria Alicia, and BJSTAR led us in song on March 31. They taught us liberation songs that we can lead in our homes, with our organizations, and lean on when we need to pick ourselves and each other up.
